Governors Visit 11/7/2008

AN INVITATION TO THE QUILPIE SHIRE COMMUNITY AND VISITORS

Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC Governor of Queensland will be visiting Quilpie at 11.00am, Friday 11th July, 2008 and will officially open the extension to the Visitor Information Centre

The Scottish Dancers will perform for the Governor and community as well as other activities and the Gallery will display work of local artists. The Governor’s Piper and also the Drum Major from the Qld Police Pipes and Drums will accompany the Governor

A community BBQ lunch will be held. Please come along and be part of the celebration and make the Governor feel welcome in our Shire.
